2 squares of unsweetened baker's chocolate (or follow equivalency directions on cocoa box)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup evaporated milk or half & half
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place chocolate and butter in lg. microwave-safe bowl or 4-cup pyrex measure.
(If substituting cocoa for chocolate squares, stir cocoa powder into sugar)
Add sugar, salt and milk.
Blend well.
Microwave on high 1 minute at a time, stirring with a whisk after each minute, until desired consistency is reached.
Stir in vanilla.
Refrigerate leftovers.

You can substitute liqueur such as Godiva chocolate or Frangelico for the vanilla but add a bit more so you can taste it!
