1 15 oz can cannellini, white kidney beans

1 rack of baby back ribs cut up

3 Tbsp. oil

1 Large can of Tomatoes

1/2 Tsp sugar

2 cloves garlic

Finely minced onion to taste

2 bay leaves

1/2 lb. Ditalini

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil and fry ribs in sauce pan. Lightly brown ribs on both sides and remove.

Saute garlic and onion until lightly browned.

Add 1 1/2 cups of water.

Add ribs and simmer about 10 minutes.

Add tomatoes that have been mashed with a fork, sugar and bay leaves.

Simmer until ribs are tender and meat is falling off the bone.

Add beans and cook slowly for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

Cook the Ditalini according to package directions for Al Dente and add to the pot.

Serve with a generous shake of grated cheese and some "nice bread" !
