1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 c water
Dash of salt (1/4 tsp)

Mix dry ingredients. Grease skillet. Keep moderately hot. Mix in some water to make a stiff dough. Mold into a round flat cake (some kneading is necessary if mixing is not thorough). Dust with flour. Cook on both sides and ends if necessary. Cooking inside can be tricky. Some cut a hole in the center. Bannock should be less than 1 inch high. Raisins, dried fruit, peaches or apples can be added. Eat hot. Can be eaten with butter and jam.
