1/4 cup chopped onion or chives
1 egg
Warm milk
Garlic salt and paprika
Melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bake potatoes until done. Cut small amount of skin off top. Scoop out inside and put in a mixing bowl. Beat until lumps disappear. Add grated cheese, chopped onion or chives, egg, and enough warm milk to make the right consistency. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Mom also added garlic salt, then brushed the top with melted butter, and sprinkled it with paprika.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I think that our mother single-handedly kept the following people in business with her cooking: Lea and Perrin (for their Worchestershire Sauce), butter makers of the world, paprika growers, Heinz Ketchup, and the poor pigs who sacrificed their bacon for her culinary adventures. I never realized until now how many of her recipes included these basic ingredients!
