1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2-1 pound cans tomatoes with juice
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 cans kidney beans, drained
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef – add onion, green pepper, garlic. Cook until onion is clear and add the rest of the ingredients. Heat to a slow boil and let simmer until just right!

Can also cook in a pressure cooker at 15 lbs. for 15 minutes (after it starts to jiggle).

We always had corn muffins and jello with Mom's chili. A great combination!
