1 Dozen Middleneck Clams
1 tbs. Butter, cut into 12 pieces
1 Slice Bacon, cut into 12 pieces
1/8 tsp. Dried Minced Onions
1/8 tsp. Garlic Powder
Italian Parsley

Directions:
Pry open clams with a sharp knife and loosen the meat from the shells, leaving one shell with all of the meat. Try to keep as much of the clam juice in the shell as possible. On top of the clam meat add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle the parsley over the prepared clams. Place in small cake pan and broil until bacon is crisp, about 5-10 minutes.

To pry open the clams, use the edge of the knife, not the tip, where the lips of the shells meet. Once open, with the knife still inside the clam, use the tip of the knife to cut the two muscles holding the clam shut. Use the knife to scrape and loosen the clam meat from the shell, leaving the meat on one shell. Twist off empty shell and discard. Enjoy!
