Baked Potato Soup Recipe

4 large baking potatoes (1 or 2 more)

2/3 c. butter

2/3 c. flour

6 c. milk

1 heaping Tablespoon of chicken base granules

¾ t. salt

½ t. pepper

4 green onions

12 slices of bacon cooked (I use the whole package.)

1 ¼ c. shredded cheese (I use more.)

1- 8 ounces- sour cream






Directions:
Directions:
Wash potatoes, prick with a fork, and bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees. Let cool and cut potatoes into cubes, leaving the skin on. Melt butter in sauce pan. Add flour stirring constantly until thick and bubbly. Stir in milk and chicken base. Add potatoes, salt, pepper, onion, bacon, cheese. Cook until heated then stir in the sour cream.

Adding something more or less is okay, too. Enjoy!
