Dough:
3 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 c. shortening
cold water (enough to hold dough together)

Syrup:
1 c .sugar
2 c. water
cinnamon (to taste)
1 1/2 T. Margarine

Apples:
Peel and thinly slice
4 1/2 T sugar & cinnamon mixture
Margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Place syrup in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Roll out dough and cut into wedges. Put apples on & sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar mixture. Add a little bit of margarine. Pull up corners and seal. Put in baking dish (corners down) Pour syrup over and Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
