11/2lb pork sausage (cook and drain)
2 T olive oil
1 lg onion
saute the chopped onion in the oil
add 7 ribs celery (chopped)
4 garlic cloves (chopped)
saute all till tender. remove from pan.
fry 6oz bacon till crisp. Drain add it to
the onion/celery and sausage put it all into a lg bowl
and add: 6 c dried bread (broken into pieces
3 c corn bread, crumbled
1/2 c melted butter
1T dry sage
11/2 t poultry seasoning
1 t salt
2 c mozzarella
1 c parmesan

4-5 c chicken broth

Spray a 13x9" pan and pour it in
Bake 375º for 45 min

Toast a cup pine nuts 2 T fresh sage (chopped) combine these and put on top of the stuffing when you serve it.

This recipe was a winner on the today show several years ago. I was watching the program and got the recipe from the show and have fixed it several times. It's good with roasted turkey or chicken or beef.
