Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 tsp sugar
1 envelope yeast (active dry, not rapid rise)
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup scalded milk
1 T butter
1/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 cups bread flour

Directions:
Directions:
Proof the yeast in warm water with the teaspoon of sugar. I scald the milk in the microwave and use the 1 tablespoon of butter and the honey to cool down the milk.

To the bread machine add: the milk mixture, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 cups of bread flour, 1 egg. Add the yeast mixture. Set the bread machine for the dough cycle. Check the dough mixture to see if you need to add more flour or a tablespoon of water. A good dough will resemble a smooth ball. Remove dough when the dough cycle is complete. Divide the dough in half with a dough cutter. Roll each one into a long tube and cut into roll size. Place on a greased pan (I use silicon sheet), cover with clean cloth and let rise until double in size or about 1 hour. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 9 to 12 minutes (longer if you like them browner). Brush with melted butter and enjoy. I usually brush mine with melted butter before and after baking.

These are like the ones at Logan's or Texas Roadhouse......they are soft and delicious. Addictive!!!!
