1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
2 large egg ypks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour (sifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Litely grease two cookie sheets.
Cream butter and sugar until lite.
Beat in slightly beaten egg yolks & vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda & craem of tartar, then fold into sugar and butter mix,
Form into walnut size balls. Place 2 in. apart and bake at 350 for 11 min. until tops are cracked and just turning color.
.Cool on wire rack.
