1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 T cocoa
2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/2 c. milk
2 T oil
1 t vanilla
1 c. nuts (chopped)
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
13/4 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven 350º
In a ungreased square pan 9x9x2 Stir together flour, sugar, 2T cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
Mix in milk, oil, vanilla, w/ fork till smooth. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cocoa and nuts.
Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes.
Let stand 15 minutes Spoon into dessert dishes. Top w/ ice cream.

Can't test this cake for doneness like regular cakes as it will have a "hot fudge" layer under it.
