Roasted Asparagus Recipe

2 lbs fresh asparagus
1/4 cup olive oil
4 minced cloves of garlic
1 lemon
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, oregano, and red pepper flakes over low heat until the garlic starts to brown. Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry asparagus and trim ends. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss asparagus with oil mixture until well coated. Arrange asparagus in single layer. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and feta cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until asparagus reaches desired tenderness.

Remove asparagus from oven. Cut lemon in half and squeeze lemon over asparagus and serve.
