13/4 c flour
1/2 c shortening (Crisco in a can)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp vanilla
48 Hershey kisses, unwrapped
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine all ingredients except kisses. Mix with a mixer at lowest speed. Shape dough into balls, roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Top each cookie with chocolate kiss and press down firmly.Remove from sheet.
