2/3 to 3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened

Fruit desired:
Cherry: 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
Peach:1 can (29 oz.) peaches, drained or 4 to 5 fresh peaches, sliced (without skin)
Pineapple: 2 cans (13 1/2 oz. each) drained or 2 cans (20 oz each) drained, crushed pineapple
Apple: 4 cups sliced tart apples (about 4 medium)

Directions:

Arrange fruit in a greased square pan. Mix "crisp" and sprinkle over fruit. Bake about 30 minutes in a 375º oven.

If using canned fruit, use slightly less brown sugar. A great combination is Strawberry and Banana.
