1 whole chicken
1 large can cream of chicken soup
64oz can chicken broth

Cornbread for Dressing:
2 1/2 lb white self rising cornmeal
6 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c oil
1t sage
1 c chopped celery
1 c chopped onions

Directions:
Directions:
Make cornbread the day before you need to fix dressing.Let the dressing sit in the refrigerator overnight and cook the next day. You can also freeze it if you want.

Mix meal, eggs, buttermilk, oil and add water until you get the consistency of cornbread. Add sage, celery, and onions. Pour into greased or wax paper lined and sprayed pans. Cook until done. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

Debone chicken, pull apart, and save broth.

In large container or dishpan, crumble cornbread and 1 large loaf of regular sliced bread. Add 1 large cream of chicken soup, saved chicken broth, the canned chicken broth until consistency is as thick as you like(about like cornbread). Add chicken. Pour into large sprayed or greased pan and cook at 350 until dry as you want it, usually 2 - 3 hours.
