"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup Butter
6 Eggs
2 3/4 cups Sugar
3 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Extract
1/2 teaspoon Orange Extract
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter and eggs to room temperature. Grease and flour the bottom and sides of a 10" tube pan; set aside.

In large mixing bowl, beat the butter at medium speed until light and fluffy; add and beat sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating about 1 minute after each. Scrape the bowl frequently with rubber spatula, guiding mixture toward the beaters. Beat 2 minutes more.

Stir together the flour, salt and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat well after each addition. Add lemon extract, orange extract and vanilla extract; beat until just thoroughly blended. Turn batter into the floured 10" tube pan.

Bake in a 350º oven for 1 1/2 hours or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean and dry. Cool cake in pan on wire rack 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
You can lower the temperature to 325º if your pans tend to produce darker baked goods
