1 cup bread crumbs
2 lb. lean ground chuck
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
1 c. onion, chopped fine
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Sauce:
1/4 c. butter
1/4 - 1/2 c. flour
3 beef bouillon cubes
3 c. hot water
1-1/2 c. evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meatball mixture and shape into meatballs. For easier shaping, chill mixture first and use wet hands when rolling. In a saucepan, mix bouillon in boiling water. In large skillet, brown in 2 tbsp. butter.

Remove meatballs from skillet. Add 1/4 c. butter to drippings in skillet. Add bouillon and mix well, then evaporated milk. Now add flour and stir, will start to thicken. Add meatballs and let simmer for one hour, stirring often.

Serve with mashed potatoes.
