2 cups chopped chicken or 2 large cans of white breast meat (drained)
1 c chopped broccoli
1/2 c red pepper chopped
1 c sharp cheddar cheese grated
1/2 c mayonnaise
1 tsp dried dill weed (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
2 cans crescent rolls (8 in each can)
1 egg white
2 tbsp sliced almonds

Preheat oven 375º. Mix first 7 ingredients well. Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls and arrange dough on slightly oiled cookie sheet. Press all pieces of the crescent rolls together and slightly roll out into a rectangle. Cover center of the dough with half of mixture above. Then take knife and cut the dough on each side into strips about 1" wide. Fold strips over the op of the chicken mixture and inch together to form a braid. Pinch ends of the roll together too. cover with egg white (beaten well) and cover top with almonds. Repeat instructions for second chicken braid. Bake for 25 minutes. This can be cooked a day ahead and wrapped in Reynolds wrap, or frozen for later use. Warm in oven or microwave and serve.
