Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Three bags of shredded cabbage (2 ¼ pounds)
1 ½ cups chopped green onion
Three packages RameIn Noodles (chicken flavor)
1 cup toasted slivered almonds (to toast almonds I place them on a baking sheet at 350° for about 10 minutes. Watch them closely they burn easily.)
Dressing:
1 cup dark sesame oil
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2tsp. salt
2tsp. ground black pepper
1 ½ tablespoons chili oil
Ramein noodle flavor packets (optional sometimes it seems too salty)

Directions:
To make ahead overnight is the method I prefer.
Combine cabbage and green onions together. Mix ingredients for dressing. Toss salad dressing with 2/3 cabbage mixture reserving, 1/3 cabbage mixture in a zip lock to add later.
1 hour before serving mix all, adding RameIn noodles (crunch the noodles into bite size pieces), slivered almonds and remaining cabbage.

Personal Notes:
* If you choose to not prepare overnight, combine all of the ingredients 1 hour before serving. However, if you add the noodles and all of the cabbage too far in advance it loses its crunch and the freshness.
