Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Medium onion, diced
Butter
4 cups milk
1tsp salt
1tsp sugar
1 cup cornmeal
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:

In a large frying pan sauté onion in a goodly amount of butter.
When golden brown, add milk, salt, sugar and cornmeal.
Turn up the burner and stir constantly with a spatula.
As the mixture warms, turn the burner down as it may bubble and spit. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens. This may take a while, but it WILL happen. (The mixture is thick enough when the nachynka does not stick to the spatula.)
Just before this happens, with a fork whip 2 eggs together in a dish and pour into the mixture and stir in thoroughly.
Pour the entire mixture into a casserole dish and bake at 350F for an hour at most.
