Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour (NOT Self-Rising)
3/4 Cup Butter, Melted
1/4 Cup Heavy Cream or Half and Half
4 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
6 Cups Frozen Fruit-Peaches or Blackberries
1 Refrigerated Pie Crust
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Egg White
2 Tablespoons Water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well by hand. Add the fruit, and stir until well distributed throughout the mixture. This is an effort since the frozen fruit gradually stiffens the mixture, so mix quickly. Incidentally if you care, the fruit is frozen so it won’t mush up during this mixing, especially the blackberries. Spoon the mixture into a 13 x 7 inch baking dish or a similarly-sized aluminum disposable pan. Cut pie crust into strips, and arrange the strips in a clever pattern on top of the mixture. Mix the egg white and the water together, and paint this mixture over the pie crust strips. Then sprinkle sugar onto the egg-coated strips. Bake at 425º F for 45 minutes.

Personal Notes:
As for the fruit, you can buy frozen fruit at the grocery store, or freeze fresh fruit yourself. Just spread the blackberries or the peach slices out on a wax-paper-lined cookie sheet (you can do multiple layers with wax paper between), and then put the tray in the freezer for a few hours.
