½ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
1 can or package of tuna, packed in oil
1 pound Spaghetti
1 bunch Italian parsley, finely chopped to yield ¼ cup

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 6 quarts water to boil and add salt to taste.
Meanwhile, in a 10 to 12-inch sauté pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat until almost smoking.
Add the onions and garlic and cook until softened, about 8 minutes.
Add the tuna and pepper flakes and bring to a boil; remove pan from the heat.
Cook the Spaghetti in boiling water 1 minute less than the package instructions indicate.
Drain in colander and transfer pasta to the pan with tuna sauce, stirring carefully to coat.
Add the parsley and cook for 1 minute.
Transfer to a warmed serving bowl and serve immediately.
