Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage (can cook day before)
3/4 finely diced onion (optional)
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
3/4 cup butter, melted
8 cups soft bread crumbs
3 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
2 apples (peeled and cut into small chunks)
1 small bag dried cranberries (I used from Salad section of grocery store)
1 box of Swanson chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Place sausage in skillet and cook over medium heat until brown. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels.

Sauté onions and celery in butter until onion is tender but not browned. Mix with bread crumbs, add sausage and remaining ingredients. If the stuffing is not cooked in the turkey, the mixture may be dry. Add some chicken broth until mixture is moist (not soaking) and you can put it in the crock pot or oven until everything else is ready.
