4 sticks softened butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
decorative sugars and sprinkles
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and gradually add to butter mixture; mix well. Divide dough into fourths. Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters and decorate. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
