1/2 C. crisco
1/2 C. butter
1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C.sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 and 1/4 C. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 and 1/2 C. or 3/4 # M and M’s.....or as many as you need... ; )

Directions:
Directions:
Blend crisco and butter and sugars together in large bowl.
Beat in vanilla and eggs.
Add dry ingredients that have been mixed together. , blending well.
Stir in 1/2 C. m and m’s, reserve rest for decorating the cookies before baking
Drop by teaspoonfuls on un-greased cookie sheet. Decorate with the reserve M and M’s
Bake 375 degrees.....about 10 minutes. Don’t over-bake or they will be too crunchy. Unless you like them crunchy, some folks do.

GRANNY SAYS.....Sherry found this recipe some place years ago and loved it and made it for us, many times. It is a good cookie recipe! Who can resist a cookie plus M and M’s?? Plus Sherry is a great cookie maker.... : ) It is hard to eat just one of these....
