GRANNY SAYS.....I found this recipe not too long ago, it is a good and easy one. I grew up on bread pudding, it was always my mom’s go-to/last-minute dessert to whip together to use up the old-dry bread laying around the house (probably white bread, that’s all I remember having back then)....waste-not..want-not, that was her motto for sure. But boy, it was a good and yummy dessert. I remember eating it cold even and still sooo good! I wish I had her recipe, and have hunted high and low for years, for one comparable, I don’t think she used a recipe, just some bread chunks, milk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon, basically....But I did find this recipe and it, too, is a good one, not my mom’s, but it will have to do.....I will suffer....
