Ingredients:  
3 T. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
2 lbs. beef stew meat
3 T. oil
2 c. fresh apple cider
1/2 c. water
2 T. cider vinegar
1 lg. bay leaf
4 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, quartered, sliced
2 onions, sliced
1 celery stalk, sliced
1 apple, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and thyme in a bowl. Toss the stew meat into the flour mixture. Brown with the oil in a dutch oven. Stir in cider, water, and cider vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add bay leaf. Simmer meat until tender. Add balance of ingredients cook until the vegetables are tender.
