Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Large Apples, Peeled, Cored, and Halved Vertically
4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar, Divided
2 1/2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted and Divided
3/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon, Divided
2 Tablespoons Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 Teaspoon Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Cooking Spray

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Starting at the outermost edges, cut most of the way through each apple half at 1/8 inch intervals, being careful not to slice all the way through the apple. Place apple halves cut-side down in a glass or ceramic baking dish coated with cooking spray. Combine 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, stirring with a whisk. Brush butter mixture evenly over apple halves.

Cover pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Carefully remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove from oven, but leave oven on. Cool for 10 minutes.

Combine remaining 3 tablespoons brown sugar, remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, remaining 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, oats, flour, and salt in a bowl; stir with a whisk. Use a sharp knife to fan open slices of apple halves without breaking them. Spoon oat mixture evenly over apples. Bake for another 10 minutes. Then turn broiler to high (leave pan in oven) and broil for 2 minutes.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
