4 thick pork chops
6 T. rice
1 onion, sliced thin
4 slices green pepper
Salt to taste
1 tomato, sliced thin
Pepper to taste
Dash of marjoram
Dash of thyme
10 oz. can consomme

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork chops and place on top of raw rice in 9x13 casserole dish. Add pork chop drippings. Place slice of onion, tomato, and green pepper on each chop. Salt and pepper each chop and sprinkle with herbs. Pour consomme on top. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
