¾ C. self-rising flour*
¾ C. self-rising corn meal*
¾ C. milk
1 egg
Uncooked hot dogs
Corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except hot dogs. Place a layer of corn starch into a small plate and roll each hot dog in corn starch.* Insert sticks into end of corn dogs or cut each in half and insert a toothpick in the center. Dip in mix and deep fry until brown.

I'm still trying to figure out the exact amount of flour and meal to use; you may want to start with ½ C. of each and increase as needed. The hint about rolling in corn starch came from Paula Deen and it made a huge difference in how well the batter adheres!
