FOR THE CAKE:
2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
1 tsp. lemon extract
4 brown eggs
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups buttermilk

FOR THE FROSTING:
1 stick butter
1 1/2 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. lemon extract
5-6 tbsp. evaporated milk

FOR THE CAKE:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Cream together 2 sticks butter, 3 cups sugar, 1 tsp. lemon extract and 4 brown eggs.
3. Sift in 3 cups flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, and 2 cups buttermilk.
4. Pour into 3 - 9" pans and bake in 350º oven for 35 minutes or until done.
5. Cool well before frosting.

FOR THE FROSTING:
1. Cream together 1 stick butter, 1 1/2 box powdered sugar, 1 tsp. lemon extract, and 5-6 tbsp. evaporated milk.
2. Sprinkle on coconut..
