1 lb. ground beef
¼ C. fine bread crumbs
¼ C. chopped onion
1 T. Worcestershire
1 egg
2½ t. salt
¼ t. pepper
1 large onion, quartered
2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce
2 T. vegetable oil
4 carrots, cut into 1-inch slices
2 potatoes, quartered
1 pkg. frozen green beans
1 C. water
1 T. flour

Directions:
Combine beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, 1½ t. salt, pepper, Worcestershire Sauce, and ½ C. tomato sauce. Shape into 16 balls. Brown in hot oil in skillet. Add vegetables, water, and 1 t. salt. Pour over remaining tomato sauce. Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove ½ C. stew sauce and mix with flour. Gradually pour into stew and stir over low heat until gravy thickens.
