4 1/2 cups white vinegar
3 1/2 cups water
2 1/2 tbsp. crushed red pepper
1 1/2 tbs. minced garlic
3 lbs. smoked kielbasa
6 bay leaves
3 tbs. sugar


Directions:
Directions:
Make brine. Combine first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil.

Cut sausage into 4" pieces and cut in half.

Place sausage and bay leaves in sterilize jar and cover with hot brine.

Let sit in refrigerator 3 days or longer to marinate

I skim off the grease before serving.

Good with a nice cold beer, cheese and crackers.

I only used 1 1/4 tbsp. red pepper. We don't care for it quite so hot.
