Directions:
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla, blend in melted chocolate and shortening. Sift dry ingredients together, stir into chocolate mixture. Add nuts. Chill several hours or overnight. Shape into balls, roll in powdered sugar and place on un-greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes, or until done. (Remove from oven before they “look” done for a moist chewy cookie.) Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
