Sliced Cucumber (two or three, 6-8 inches long)
2/3 Cup Water
1/3 Cup White Vinegar
1/4 Cup Sugar Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients and stir over stove until sugar is dissolved. Pour brine over sliced cucumbers and refrigerate several days. Stores well in refrigerator for 3 weeks. Makes enough brine to cover 2 pints.
