Filling:
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. corn starch
1 c. water

Cookie Dough:
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Filling: Cook all ingredients until thick. Cool
Cookie: Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add the dry mix alternately with the milk.
Divide dough in 1/2. Roll each half separately into a rectangle. Place one sheet on a baking sheet. Cover with the filling. Cover with second sheet and seal edges. Bake at 375º
Cut into squares while warm.
