Sauce:
1/4 C olive oil
½ C chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 T finely chopped parsley
1 large can Italian tomatoes
2 small cans tomato paste
1 t basil leaves
2 t oregano leaves
1 T salt
¼ t pepper
2 t sugar
¾ to 1 lb ground meat (HB, Italian sausage , pork sausage)

Directions:
Saute garlic, parsley and onion in oil til tender. Add meat and sauté until browned. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for three hours. Stir occasionally.
Assembly:
1 T salt
1 t olive oil
Lasagna noodles
1 # ricotta cheese
1 # mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
3 oz Parmesan cheese, grated

Cook noodles in plenty of water with salt and oil, adding 2 or 3 at a time, til tender. Drain and rinse with hot water. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Spoon 1/3 of the sauce into the pan. Layer 1/3 of the noodles, ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat the layering twice, ending with the Parmesan. Bake uncovered 45-50 minutes or until cheese is melted and top is browned. Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting to serve.

When I make this at Christmas I have to double the recipe for two large lasagna pans.
