5 c sliced fresh peaches
1/4 c flour
1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c water

1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Place peaches in 8 inch square baking dish. Combine the 1/4 cup flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and water and stir into peaches.
Combine the 1 cup flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Stir into this mixture with a fork, the beaten egg until crumbly. Sprinkle over the peaches. Drizzle the 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine over topping.
Bake at 350º for 70 to 80 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
