1 lb. Sweet butter

1/2 cup sugar

5 cups flour

1 cup walnuts



Directions:
Directions:
•Preheat oven to 350 degrees

•Cream butter and sugar. (I use my Kitchen Aid)

•Mix in flour slowly. Then add walnuts. (When adding walnuts, just turn Kitchen Aid on/off 3 x. Nuts will break slightly and will be mixed into dough.)

•Shape dough into “S” shape or diamond shape

•Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown (be careful not to burn bottom)

•Cool completely on wire racks

•Sift confectioners sugar onto wax paper

•Place cookies on top of sugar

•Then sift confectioners sugar on top of cookie
