1 - 3x3 by 4 ft deep hole in the ground
Lots of wood
20 lb roast
Foil pan, foil
Burlap sac
Season
Beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Start burning wood the previous day – about 4:00 pm
Prepare roast in pan, broth, seasoning, foil so no leaks occur, wrap it in wet burlap sack, tie wire around it with the length of the depth of the pit plus 1 ft.
Place roast in hole on hot coals
Bury with wire handle sticking out of the ground
Remove about 3:00pm – 4:00pm the next day.
Unwrap, let rest a bit
