2 oranges
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk, or sour milk

Directions:
Directions:
Squeeze juice from oranges, set aside juice for frosting. Grind raisins and orange peel with membrane.

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, buttermilk. Add raisins and orange mixture. Mix well.

Put in 9 X 13 X 2 greased pan. Bake forty-five to sixty minutes at 350 degrees.

Add one-quarter cup sugar to orange juice, spoon over cake after you take it out of the oven. Place back in oven for a few minutes.

Yummy. Mom would cut into squares and put a squirt of Butter Cream frosting in a swirl on top of each square.
