1# - 80% Ground Beef (or Meatball mix, if available)
1 Whole Egg
1/4 cup Whole Milk
1 small Yellow Onion, diced
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
2 slices day-old bread
2 T Parmesan Cheese
1 t. Basil (fresh, if available)
1 t Oregano (fresh, if available)
1 t Salt
Ground pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut bread in matchsticks in both directions making small cubes.
2. Beat egg, add milk, onion, garlic, herbs, seasonings, and Parmesan cheese.
3. Add bread crumbs. Mix lightly with fork.
4. Roll in 1" meatballs placing on lightly greased cookie sheet. 1# should produce about 16 meatballs.
5. Bake at 375º degrees F for 35 minutes.

Note: I like Sweet Italian Sausage in my Spaghetti Sauce. Pierce each link with a knife and place down on the cookie sheet. Bake at the same temperature and time as the meatballs.
