1 C. Sugar
2 Sticks of Margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 - 2 sleeves of saltine crackers
1 12 oz. package of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cover a cookie sheet with non-stick aluminum foil.
Place the saltines (salt side up) onto the foil, covering the surface (leave no gaps).
In a heavy sauce pan, boil the sugar and margarine for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. Carefully pour over the saltines and spread evenly.
Bake at 375 for 8 minutes (Be careful as they can burn easily). Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Wait a few minutes then spread the chocolate evenly. Put the cookie sheet in the freezer for about a 1/2 hour. Break apart the candy and store in the fridge (in a Ziploc or plastic container).
