4 sandwich rolls (5 to 6 In. long) split horizontally
3 Tablespoons butter melted
12 Oz. fresh, frozen or imitation crabmeat, thawed, if frozen
1 cup shredded Cheddar or Gruyere cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons sour cream
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg or 1/2 teaspoon dried dillweed

HINT - sometimes I remove part of the bread for it to be like a well
Heat oven to 400
Cut about 1/3 of the crab meat into chunks and set aside.
Shred remaining and put in a small bowl. Add cheese, onions, mayonnaise and sour cream; stir to mix, then stir in crabmeat chunks. Season with lemon juice and nutmeg or dillweed, adjusting flavors to suit your taste.
Spoon crab mixture onto toasted roll halves. Bake 5 to 10 minutes until hot.
