Yellow Squash
Pepper
Onion
Butter
Salt
Egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash until tender. Drain or cook until dry. Add chopped onion and cook til onion is about half done. Add salt, pepper and butter to taste. Break an egg in and stir vigorously with a fork.
In the summer, Grandma would fry all the squash, always yellow crookneck. She would then can them whole in quart mason jars. This is the squash she used for the above recipe. Delicious.
