1 1/4 c. Water
1 c. Sugar
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
5 c. Saskatoon Berries
2 tbsp. Cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy sauce pan boil the sugar and water together with lemon juice for 10 minutes. Add Saskatoon berries and cook for 15 minutes more. In a small cup combine cornstarch with 3 tbsp. of water to make a smooth paste. Pour into cooked berry sauce and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.

Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie crust. Place second layer of crust on top.

Bake at 450º for 10 minutes then reduce to 350º for 30 minutes.
