2 c corn meal
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs - beaten
2 c buttermilk
2 Tbsp bacon drippings

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; add eggs, buttermilk, and bacon drippings. Mix well.
2. Place a well greased or buttered 10" cast iron skillet in a 450º oven for 4 minutes or until buttered is completely melted. Remove from oven; pour batter into skillet.
3. Bake at 450º for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
