2 cups flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup margarine or butter (1 1/2 sticks)

1 cup sugar
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream

4 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

4 cups chopped rhubarb

Directions:

Cut butter or margarine into first 3 ingredients until crumbly. Pat into bottom of 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350บ for 15 min. Let cool.

In a bowl separate 4 eggs. To the yolks, add the cup of sugar and sour cream.

To the egg whites beat on high with mixer, slowly adding cream of tartar and cup of sugar until stiff peaks form.

Pour egg yolk mixture over cooled baked crust, sprinkle rhubarb over that. Then top with meringue (beaten egg whites) making sure to seal to the sides of pan.

Return to oven and bake 45 min. at 350
