2 cups all purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup sweet milk
2 tablespoons Crisco oil or shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine and sift together dry ingredients, mix lightly with liquids. Turn out on floured board knead into soft dough. Roll thin about 1/4 inch. Cut biscuits and dip in melted butter and place 2 biscuits together (1 on top of the other) Place in pan and let rise for one hour. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes or until browned.

These were made by my grandmother when I was a little girl. Lots of memories of her allowing the grandchildren to cut their own biscuits.
